Angels Night gathered people and organizations from around the city at Blight Busters headquarters on Lahser just north of Grand River. We broke bread, heard from some of the candidates running for City of Detroit offices, then formed patrol teams. Six businesses along in the neighborhood held grand opening celebration.
As night came to a peak there was a poetry and performance event at Artists Village. The MC for the evening was Mama Sol.
